About D-Planner

planner

D-Planner is a course planning tool for Dartmouth students. Our online platform lets students discover courses that fit their own personalized needs. Instead of looking exhaustively through an overwhelming course catalog, students can leverage D-Planner’s advanced search mechanics to find courses that suit their needs.

Students drag their desired courses into one of their twelve D-Plan terms, and D-Planner will automatically alert the student about any scheduling conflicts and inform them of their progress towards critical degree requirements.

Welcome to the future of education planning.

Our Mission

D-Planner is here to service Dartmouth students.

Academic planning is frustrating, but it's also so crucially important. We’re paying astronomically high tuitions, and can’t afford to make poor planning decisions. Regret taking this course? That’s 1 out of your 12 terms here gone. Missed out on a course you would’ve loved to take? There no chance to take it anymore beyond Dartmouth. So close to fulfilling a minor or a second Major? But can’t because the planning didn’t go so well? There’s no going back.

We want to eliminate all of these mistakes that can happen - not because of the student’s fault, but because the college does not offer us tools that can let us make informed planning decisions.

So that’s why D-Planner is here. We want to give every Dartmouth student: 19s, 20s, 21s, 22s, 23s, and every year beyond, the chance to create personalized academic plans that will lead to an intellectually fulfilling four years here - to pursue what they love and explore new fields without worry.
